COVID-19 Diary Together & Apart: Community spirit soars during Community CleanUp

Starting at 4pm on Saturday 2 May 2020, the estate's Community CleanUp effort attracted the help of around 80 volunteers, who scoured the estate for discarded items whilst estate manager Aye Thandar Tun @ Alice led the estate clean-up. Armed with tongs and bin bags, the volunteers made sure the main and back streets were spotless for the coming summer. The residents shared an hour of solidarity together & apart as they went about the exercise either alone or with their family members, to clean up the communal area of green space.
